Core Programs
SME Resilience Program: Helps SMEs build a strong foundation to meet challenges and seize opportunities.
Institutional Resilience Program: Aims to ensure that institutions in Africa can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions while maintaining their core functions.
Corporate Strategic Leadership Program: Designed to enable private sector leaders to foster positive change and resilience in communities.
End Poverty Program: Supports young community leaders in contributing to poverty reduction and promoting the freedom economy, targeting low-income families, the unemployed, and vulnerable groups.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Program Specialist, you will:
Lead the design and implementation of one of our core programs.
Develop strategic plans for program management and sustainability.
Conduct research to identify economic development opportunities.
Analyze economic data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
Collaborate with government officials, business leaders, and community members.
Provide technical and analytical support in economic policy and data analysis.
Monitor program progress and make necessary adjustments.
Evaluate program performance and recommend improvements.
Establish and manage relationships with donors and partners to support program expansion.
Required Skills and Experience
Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in economics, development studies, or social sciences.
Experience:
At least five years (with a Master’s degree) or three years (with a PhD) of relevant experience in economics or sustainable development is required.
Experience coordinating with government agencies and NGOs.
Familiarity with web-based management systems and statistical analysis programs.
Skills:
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in software tools for data analysis and visualization (e.g., R, Stata, Python).
